I love those coffee tables

me too, do you want it?
I've been holding on to it for years and it looks great in fruitbats house, where it currently is, I just have to be honest with myself... it won't fit on any narrow boat I could afford. :(i also know where the teak sofa is that compliments it. (because i've had someone holding it for me for 2 years). it will be for sale shortly.

I've wanted one since I first came across the design.
I'm not entirely sure where I'd put it though, although a matching sofa might persuade me to create somewhere for it.
Which sofa is it?

its Danish. teak, with the spindles like a windsor chair. (it's not cheap though..) I fell in love with it immediately. strictly speaking they aren't a "match" but its the nicest one of the era Ive seen. The current owner brought it with her from Denmark - it was bought new by her mother.. no scratches, dents etc. and wide / long enough for some one 6ft + to sleep on.

That would look awesome in my spare room/study.
Only issue is, currently that room is a disaster area of boxes, bikes and a washing machine.

That sofa is lovely.
Is the coffee table, similar to the one on ebay at the moment?

Our coffee table is looking a bit tired, Dammit. I think we could cope with a new one to match the G-plan dining set we should be collecting soonish?
We're also not getting a chaise longue with the dining set anymore so could probably home a day bed.
If nothing else they're teak, teak!

I can drive again now Jacqui, so let me know when works and I'll come pick it up and give you some cash money.
The time has come to admit that I won't be needing / have room for my stuff now that I am committed to boating life. This is all household items, about a third of which has had less than 3 months use. I bought a lot of new stuff when I moved into my dream flat. Its all quality stuff, most in original boxes.
Off the top of my head:
Dyson Aminal - under warranty (rrp 300+) 175.00
Large electric cream colour kettle NIB (rrp 25) 10.00
Roberts Eco Radio NIB (rrp 80) 50.00
Ironing board & cover - (rrp 25) 10.00
Iron / steamer - 10.00
Astro G-Plan oval coffee table (teak) with original glass (needs re polish on top) but no scratches, dents or separation on the seams.- 50.00
more to be added.
