Cheers for starting this almac68. Mrs Wrongcog and I are considering it - work permitting. That PDF is as clear as mud. Anyone got any plans to turn up and watch without tickets... What's the general consensus re access?
-
• #3
Does anyone know when is Wiggo scheduled to start?
-
• #4
Not even the IOC know this..
-
• #5
I was hoping the big guns would be starting at random intervals to keep it spicy.

Plus is someone goes out early and posts a big time will they have to tolerate their every expression being filmed for the little thumbnail window like on the TDF? That could be painful viewing for a couple of hours.

Cancellara will win, Martin second, Larsson 3rd.
-
• #8
That's not even remotely funny.
-
• #9
Yes I think Cancellara will win this as it's a pretty short course. Wiggins second?

womens ITT in the morning..

What time is the Ladies ?
-
• #12
12.30 with the men's at quarter past 2 I think.
-
• #13
I didn't think it was 100% that Cancellara was racing?
-
• #14
That's not even remotely funny.
Reality sucks. :)
Martin sat out the RR and Wiggo burried himself. Canc crashed but isn't as badly bashed as expected so should be ok to TT. Larrson = ousider.

^^ He's been declared fit this morning.
-
• #16
"Fab, you're so fit" from the swim team..
-

That would probably only be the case if the organisers were capable of showing useful things like splits, times and distances. -

^^ He's been declared fit this morning.
Really? Im amazed, it totally looked like he'd popped his collarbone on saturday
-
• #19
Actually, Froome was out early
actinglooking shelled so perhaps he's in with a shot. Allez Kenya! -
• #20
He spent an hour on the phone to Jens Voigt, who gave him such motivational advise as "stop being such a pussy!", and he is now fit to race
-
• #21
Ha!
-
• #22
"Crying on camera is 20 points of your man card. You'd better win the TT, bitch!"
-
• #23
Allez Kenya!
We could go for the entire podium:
- Kenya (Froome)
- Belgium (Wiggins)
- Malta (Millar)
- Kenya (Froome)

Cancellara v Wiggo will be a great contest. Really looking forward to it. Is tony Martin race fit? Big question is will FC learn that if it's wet, avoid the carbon rims in spite of the slight weight disadvantage - there look to be some tight bends on the course.

I have booked the afternoon off work to go and watch the TT.
Yeah!By working in the morning I guarantee that I shall be part way there and therefore may as well actually go. If I took the entire day off I would probably just stay at home, like I did at the weekend.
