Mole grips?
Which bolt is it?

Is it the recessed bolt which holds the brakes to the frame? If it is, and it's an allen bolt, then I'd maybe drill it out.

Or, if you have a Torx driver of roughly the right size, hammer the bugger in and then get it back out with pliers/vice when you've removed the bolt.

The method I used from that thread was to hammer in a slightly larger allen key.

If it's a modern recessed allen bolt you could use something like a 'Boa grabit' bolt remover. I've used this before to great effect - just make sure you get the right size. The only downer is that a set costs about £20. If I were you I would go to a good LBS and pay them £5-£10 to take it out.
I always think it is important to support the local grease-monkey. -

If you're not sure where you're LBS is or if it is reputable you could always tell the forum your post-code or borough and ask for names and recommendations.

Thats for the replies everyone. I should have stated before, its the anchor bolt & its not an allen key.
I've given up, I think I'll take it to a shop!
Any ideas? I've tried a few things but nothings working.
