• As title.

    Changes from standard spec:

Easton EA50 stem (spots of rust on bolts)
Specialized Toupe 143mm Ti railed saddle
Cyclocross style additional brake levers fitted by previous and 1st owner (my friend) as he rode it in London as he found them useful in traffic.
Clarks cartridge brake pads and holders
    Schwalbe Ultremo front tyre 700x23c
    Continental GP4000 rear tyre 700x23c
    Specialized bottle cage
Most of the decals have been removed to give it a stealth look. Headtube "S" remains and warranty sticker etc.

Well used but still an excellent bike to ride. It has a 16T fixed sprocket with lock ring (unused) and a brand new, just fitted, Shimano MX30 16T freewheel.

    The not so good bits:
Rear hub feels quite "notchy" when you spin it in your hands. Can't notice it when riding and it doesn't seem to affect the performance, but I would guess that the rear hub either needs servicing or replacing soon.
The Ultremo tyre is on it's last legs with lots of small slits and some slight buldging in places. I've been riding it like it for quite a while without problems, but I'd definitely be replacing it soon if I were keeping it.
The saddle has cracks at the back on either side. I have Toupe's on other bikes and these cracks don't seem to affect they way it feels to sit on as I sit further forward on the saddle than where the cracks are. I've taken a pic below showing these. I've left it on as you might find it fine too, or you may wish to use an alternative preferred saddle anyway.
There are a few minor scuffs on the bike and a few marks on the seatpost as you tend to get with a used bike, but even with the hub as it is, it really does fly. I've got most of my Strava KOMs on this bike in exactly this spec 8-) The frame and fork seem particularly nice with nice touches like the replaceable steel plates on the frame dropouts, but the whole bike has surprised me in terms of how quick it is and how nicely it rides.

Despite the apparant wear on the rear hub, both rims are in good condition with loads of life in them.

Looking for £225 for it, but you'll need to collect from the Maidstone area for that. Pedals not included. PM me if interested. Thanks, Damian.
