Either pull out the old one and look for an inscription near the bottom of the post, or measure it using calipers (either borrow or ask bike shop).
The frame tubing would help to be known too.

Hey,
Got my bike a couple of months back and am finding that I need more length on the seatpost than there is, but I have no clue what size it should be. So, could I get some advice? Found Sheldon's seatpost database...which put me off a bit with the range of sizes, but sure you guys could tell me how to get the right fit (?)
This dancelli, good craic!
