hi there, what is the measurement from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat as you have it in your photograph? I usually ride a 58 but want this to fit so bad! can you also let me know the length of the cranks?
-
• #5
thanks you for not being 54cm :D
-
• #6
OK thanks for all the interest
the cranks are 180mm and the measurement is 78cm
I would say that i normally ride a 57cm frame and use 175mm cranks im 6`2
and have long legs
Cheers

Show at least one sign that this is a pinarello. After a good look at your photos I can only say this might be but clearly isn't a pinarello. I can't see not one panto or even a bb shell photo.

Its a Pinarello made by Pegoretti when he was working a Melani the guy who refinished it said that it was used on the Milk race by a pro and if you look at the lug where the number would have been displayed this was not a off the peg steel bike
here the under bottom bracket shot
http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii156/johneroberts/0573deca.jpgI have a friend with a Pinarello Sestriere and it has the same markings but no number lug fitted
Heres a picture of a Similar off the shelf Sestriere

Oh and its still up for grabs guys!

BTW i have no proof that it was made by Dario, its just what the guy who restored it said that at that time Melani were making frames for pinarello and Dario was making race frames for Melani
