Not true! I used them for a 10 minute ride in traffic and noticed that I could do an extra 100w also mad skidz was vastly improved and the bend provides excellent suspension.

I believed you on the reduction in punctures due to the cranks but sceptical on the increase in power!.....Cammish used these cranks for a while but they never caught on.

I guess the turbulence caused by the bend blew away any debris in the road.

Different=better for some and psychology is important in sport...if one belives it gives you an edge it possibly will.....but the science does not seem to stack up in support of its claims......it any case it would have made no difference to my mediocre TT performances.
