All city nature boy + alfine 8 speed hub?

who knows whether i can fit an alfine 8 hub to an all city nature boy frame? someone somewhere on the interwebs said you can put an alfine on any frame suitable for single-speed but that sounds like tosh. it has horizontal dropouts.

Depends on the width of the hub and the spacing of the frame. My LBS were fitting an 8 speed nexus hub to a steamroller the other day. Had a quick look and other than the added weight it worked great. Considering getting one myself sometime.

Seems like the nature boy is 130mm. Alfines are 135mm. Might be able to remove some spacers, otherwise I believe the nexus is 130mm, although I'd wait for someone else to chime in or speak to your LBS. I'm still half asleep.
