villiers velo?

paul of villiers velo is the only one who has come back to me with regards to building what i require.

has anyone got a bike of his or any comments? from his website pictures the build quality looks good and i like the use of the fancy lugs on the 'randonneur'

I have an audax bike that Paul built for me last year, 853 tubing with polished stainless lugs, and I have to say it is a fantastic bike in every sense, looks great and rides beautifully. Paul is a true artisan who takes real pride in his work, and will take the time to listen to what you want and build the bike of your dreams. That said if you are in a hurry for this bike best look elsewhere, Paul can be somewhat over optimistic in his delivery dates. However if you are prepared to wait, (in my case over 12 months) as I am sure your research will show you, is something you will have to do with any decent frame builder, you will be rewarded with a fantastic bike.

Met a rider in town this week on a brand new electric blue flam 853 Audax with stainless socketed (?) ends built by Paul Villiers. He did memtion having to wait a while too. Looked a lovely frame & fork though.
