Wanted: OT - iPod/other reliable mp3 player

  • Does anyone have an iPod or equivalent they want rid of? I don't really care what it is, as long as it's not a shuffle. Mine has broken.

  • failing that does anyone know where's cheapest for buying a new one?

  • I have an 80gb classic from a few years ago, it'd be cheap because the headphone jack is a bit dodgy, it only plays through one headphone. I dot know how much it would cost to repair, I was thinking of buying one with more capacity when it stated mucking about anyway so bought a 160gb. Let me know if you're interested and I can give you some more details.

  • I have an ipod nano 4th gen. cosmetically good condition. but the screen backlight doesn't work (well it does occasionally for a few minutes here and there). also the hold button doesn't work but you can still see the screen and it is very usable. 15 quid and its yours. if you can get money in my paypal account today then ill drop it to 10...

  • cheers! Lobbster pming now.

  • As you now appear to be sorted, does any one else have one? Either a shuffle or a nano or something similar.

    Thanks

  • I have an 80lb dachshund that is a few years old, it'd be cheap because its not a mp3 player but actually an overweight dog, it probably plays through one earhole . I dont know how much it would cost to convert to a media player. I was thinking of buying one with more capacity when it started mucking about anyway so bought a 160lb labrador. Let me know if you're interested and I can give you some more details. His name is Schultz.

  • Pics or GTFO.

  • This thread prompted me to google to find out which version my old nano is (1st gen) and it turns out there is a product recall on them!
If I get a shiny new replacement one as a result of this you can have much rep.

  • I am a bit disappointed I didn't get an overweight dog, but thought lobbster should get kudos for not only superfast posting but also leaving a ton of good music on the ipod. Cheers!

Ha ha ha, this is so bizzare.

  • I'm still awaiting pics of said overweight dog.

I'd much rather have that than an mp3 player.
