Basic brakepads and where to get them?

  • Hello everyone!

I need some basic brakepads for my Gary Fisher Triton 2009.
Wanted to try cycling again to see if my spine have recovered enough to handle cycling, but when I got the bike back after being stolen the pads where worn down. Since I am not even sure if I will be cycling I do not want to spend a lot either..

tl:dr: need cheap pads for Gary Fisher Triton 2009

So.. What brakepads should I get and from where?

  • Hello. It sounds like the perfect time to introduce yourself to your friendly local bike shop, if you can get to one.

You probably don't have brake shoes (holders with separate Campag or Shimano fit pads). In which case some of these are will get you on the road cheapest.

  • My local bike shop is darn friendly alrite, but I think pads might be a tee bit expensive. I might be wrong thou since I haven't really been there since I had my accident.

Anyway, I think you are correct in your assumption about the brake shoes and I will prob order them tonight or tomorrow..

    Cheers!
