Unbranded frame, my first fixed gear build

Hello guys, bit of a noob on here as i joined yesterday. I'm 16 and i have an apprenticeship in hairdressing and barbering. Having owned everything from a ratted bmx to a gentleman's cruiser (sadly no pictures), i decided that i'd try out a fixed gear. I bought a plain black ebay jobbie frame for £125 in January, and have been collecting parts since. just about finished the build now, currently waiting for a front brake to arrive in the post. Not many pictures of the build i'm afraid.

Thank you guys. I have got my eye on the 2012 S2 from Tokyo Fixed for my next build, time to start saving i think!

I've had my eye on an S2 for a while as well, but a road bike build got in the way. It's a handsome frame.

I will do as soon as I'm used to riding it, there wasn't much choice in the LBS seeing as everybody rides bmx

Waiting for my brake lever to arrive, it's less hassle to take it off again!

How come you're putting the brake lever on the left?

So i find it easier to brake and signal to turn right at the same time. I'm not the most coordinated guy here. :/

i think i read somewhere that the whole reason for the front brake being on the right was so you couldn't use it while signalling.
something to do with using the front brake one-handed causing the bike to veer sharply?

I had a set up like that, for similar reasons. But it was mighty disconcerting moving from one bike to the other.

Do you have pics of the rear stays? Would like to get a better view of how they flair.

Will get back to you over the weekend, as I'm away from the bike for a few days at the moment.

Thank you! This is my first fixed gear bike, so I'm yet to figure out which gear is best for me! Stupid amount of hills here in Norfolk though ;)

i bought them in my lbs, Madgetts. i live about 2 hours drive away from London! i've tried searching the web for another set, but could only curving ones. thanks!

That's awesome. The stays are a nice detail, also got bottle holes!

i don't suppose anybody could suggest a decent chainring? i would like a black one, as i find this one looks a little cheap and small.
