Still no price. I wonder if it is too much to ask politely for that rather than make a fuss about people not reading posting rules!

fatoldbloke, I'm flattered, but no thank you.
I'm not sure i fully understand northlondonlight's post, but I think he's getting stressed about there being no advertised price. I did read the rules for classifieds before posting, this is what I found;
"Advisory (not rules):
Update the thread (or close it) when your item has sold and say how much it has sold for.
Put a price in the first post, with ONO (Or Nearest Offer) if you're willing to negotiate."...so more of a guideline than a hard fast rule (the sort fatoldbloke likes eh), however I dont want people loosing sleep over things like this so I am willing to play ball if thats what everyone does?
I'll check with David. Thanks again!

Greek legend for sale? Iliad or Odyssey?
We had this debate a few weeks ago about stating prices and Hedges is correct....it went to arbitration and that was the outcome.

Hello all, long time follower, first time poster. Great community you've got here, quite an achievement. I've got a few parts that I'm planning on clearing soon, just wanted to test the water (as in make inevitable mistakes) with this ad.
This is an old 1955 Hercules New Yorker which I paired back to a sort of cafe racer style(?) after the bearings on the old wheel set gave way (not a bad innings for 56 years of use). High flange, 32h Miche Primato hubs, 14g spokes, Mavic MA2 front & Mavic Open Sport rear. Sanitized tyres, Pro on the front & an All Condition on the rear (with quite a bit of wear). Bluemels Lightweights,16t Miche fixed cog, Brooks Pro saddle (which is plastic), pop out Suntour 9cm stem, touring bars, cork bottle grips, mx leaver & Weinmann caliper, with some brake blocks. Chain is slack due to it being new about 4 months ago, just gotten to that breathing out stage, which I'll obiously correct. Think that covers it but questions welcome, plus any advice on what I could do better or not so much. Cheers, Simon.
