Lovely. Real shame about the triple

How do we know you have not used it for punting?
It is a nice bike and for me such a bike with a triple is not such a problem but can understand for some it would be but.....it cost you £290....you put £100 into it [but removed the Gatorksins]=£390.....but you want £400?...And there are no pedals!....i think you are being very optimistic especially to get >100% of restoration work back.......£340 maybe.....just my 2 cents!

I did say at least £100 because although I couldn't remember exactly how much the service at BA was, I remembered it was over £100. This £100 figure does not include said Gatorskins.
I have reduced the price of the bike to £390 to satisfy your inequality.
To clarify, there are tyres on it now. They're not the best ever, but they roll.

I didn't realise things depreciate in value when restored, and there was me thinking that people actually try to make a living out of it. Tell me, why can't someone get 100% of their investment back. If he told you he'd spent £200 would that price be ok? Seems a good price for a nice bike, so why don't you just leave him to it.

I disagree!.....It is not an investment...it was repairs.....Because i didn't......and yes it is a nice bike.

It's the sort of frame that people would drop £200 on (Columbus Brain), so doesn't seem that unreasonable to me.

The bike is now sold.

I bought this last year. I then gave it to my LBS for a full service which included at least fixing the broken axle, adding all new brake cables, and replacing the mech inner cables. I haven't used it since Christmas after buying a Corsa Extra though. It has its fair share of patches of paint missing as you can see in the photos, but still rides nicely. It's ready to go, it's just missing pedals.
