Oliver, do you know if any of those volunteering roles might be in the area of policy / public affairs? LCC website isn't working for me at the moment.

Sometimes my bike gets pretty dirty after a long ride. If you send me your details I'm happy for you to come over and clean it. As a purchaser and recommendor of cycling goods I could be consider an important part of the cycling/industrial complex so please keep this in mind.

Sorry, lemonade, completely missed this at the time. We don't have a volunteering role for this yet, but you could come along to the first Policy Forum meeting, which will probably be in the second week of September (date TBC), and which is open to all LCC members. Depending on what the workload will be like for the staff members assisting the Forum, they might be interested in recruiting volunteers. That hasn't been decided yet, though. It's something I want to talk about at the meeting.

No worries Oliver, thanks anyway. I've recently been offered a paid job, full-time, so I won't be able to volunteer. I might well be able to drop by the Policy Forum anyway though, out of interest, so thanks for the info.

edit - wrong thread. Soz!
I'm currently on my summer holiday from university and am keen to do some volunteering in the cycling/bike industry...
Anybody know of anything/got any suggestions? I'm based in Kent with easy transport access to London...
Cheers
Josh
