The forward-thinking among you might also note that the 22nd July is the final day of the TdF. This will, more than likely, be accommodated with an extended lunch in a bar which we will arrange to celebrate a nigh-on-certain, British win :)

Feel a bit cheeky, because I haven't actually made it to a TNRC yet, but fully intend to do so before 21 July ... so in. I'd love to think I would do this fixed.

This looks great. Hoping to exorcise the ghost of a couple of years back, when I got about 5 miles into Sam's Bristol ride, only to have a minor coming together with a kerb and winding up with a tacoed front wheel. Don't want to list-jinx it yet though.

I'll see you father's 70th and raise you my father's 80th in Shropshire. Damned inconsiderate of them.
I'll be on the next one, we have to do the IoW again this year.

Don't tell skive he's leading anything, surefire way to make him flounce ;)
noticed i've not planned any rides this year!
TNRC invites you on the first Deluxe of the 2012 season:
If you don't know about us, we're the bunch of guys (and girls!) who spend every other Tuesday out on the lanes of the home counties, enjoying 35-55km of finest, local blacktop. We do winding flats, rolling hills and testing climbs on a 'fixed first' approach, check out the thread for more.
This year we're doing our more challenging 'deluxe' overnighters on a weekend and are inviting you to join our merry gang for an evening of wind-cheating banter over 95 miles of road to Royal Bath Spa, finishing with a slap-up breakfast and (optionally) a breather at the Thermae Spa. Leading the way will be the benevolent Braker, while I and/or Balmain bring up the rear. The plan is detailed below, with an option to skip the train out to Farnborough for the keen amongst you.
We look forward to riding with you.
B
