sorry, not to trash your sales thread but i have to say the Poundland one is actually not bad, I got the instantly usable rechargable batteries while I was there and got a good few hours out of them before charging, was well impressed
the light is quite big and looks shit though. I had to gaffer tape it to the top of my stem too because the clamp won't go on OS bars

IF you can wait, get one of these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-Watt-LED-Flashlight-Torch-Bike-Bicycle-Rear-Light-R-/160431059427?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Cycling_Bike_Lights&hash=item255a6fb1e3
Best bang for your buck by a long distance, got one for my mum and several friends and I have one just as a torch & as a back up light for away trips when I'd rather not take my expensive lights. Not a proper 5 watt but equivalent to a 3 watt LED I purchased some while back so bright enough for most, I can just about use this on its own on a flat known road that is pitch black so as an urban light it is perfect.
Accepts 3xAAA (i use rechargeables personally), has steady & flash option, outer shell is alloy & so far had no problems with rain.

Cheers Mr Bump, that's the one I had before, absolutely brilliant light, but I've got through a couple just because the attachment for the bars and seatpost are really terrible. I agree that it's fantastic for the money though.
Sorted thanks to Apollo now.

shame, I actually use the clamp on a better Lithium Ion light now, never had any problems over rough terrain and my bars are those slippery CF buggers..lol

Sorry I tried to find the link via myebay but it was over 60 days ago so it's no longer in my history.
I'm looking for a new front light after my crappy £5 hong kong special fell out of it's bracket and under a car....
I don't need anything fancy but would ideally like something relatively bright. I'd need it posted and will cover the costs. Hit me up if you can help out!
