been in contact with several interested parties and it appears that £350 is not conducive to a sale; taken on board so therefore - £260.

By any chance was this the Romany that slimboy fat was it, who had a massive clear out a month a go or so...that he kindly sold for £150?
I was interested in this bike, obviously from the original guy at the bargain price. I'm still interested, though to be honest I get pretty annoyed when people take advantage of bargain prices with the sole intention of making a profit. Someone could have had the bike, who actually wanted it to ride, like me.
Rant over. I am probably mistaken, it probably is not the same bike. Looks the same though. I guess I am just bitter that I never got it for £150 myself.

Revell Romany 531ST Tourer - 23" - SOLD
Frame - 531ST, number 840004, strongly suggests this was made by Mercian (frame 0004 of 1984); a possible precursor to their King of Mercia model. Mercian, along with Dave Yates and Joe Waugh were contracted to make these for Freewheel. Cut-out lugs and general fine workmanship on frame.
Seat-tube c-c - 23”
Top-tube c-c - 22 ½ “
Spacing - 126mm
Seat-tube Ø - 27.2mm
Bottom bracket - English
Features - Cantilever hanger and bosses, mudguard eyes, non-recessed brake attachment, downtube gear bosses, 1 set water bottle mounts, under down-tube mounts, internal cable routing to bottom bracket (not used), chainstay protector, campagnolo long drop-outs.
Defects - Although in very good condition for a 1980's machine, there is inevitably some paint loss (in places poorly touched up) to tubes due to normal wear and tear, no dings.
Fork - 531
Spacing - 100mm
Features - Cantilever bosses, mudguard eyes, non-recessed brake attachment.
Wheels - 36 hole campagnolo low flange hubs with bent lever quick releases, to 27 x 1 ¼” alloy rims shod with Schwalbe 28-32 touring tyres
Rear gears - Screw on 5 speed block, 13/16/19/26/32
Gear levers - Suntour Power ratchet type
Chainset - Suntour Red, 175mm cranks, 46/38/28 rings
Front Derailleur - Shimano band-on
Rear Derailleur - Huret Duopar titanium/alloy
Rack - Blackburn
Mudguards - SKS Chromo plastics
Seatpost - Fluted alloy 27.2mm
Saddle - Selle Royal Ride Gel (bit tatty but useable)
Brakes - Shimano 600 Cantis front and rear
Stem - Cinelli 90mm
Handlebars - Cinelli Giro d’Italia 40cm, foam grips good condition
Brake levers - Weinmann drilled, gum hoods worn
