I've changed my mind on a second bike, so have no need for it after all.

That Planet-X deal looks to be the dog's as both crank and ergos are earlier (BETTER) Ultra series not the 2011 Power series. Better stiffer crank assy and 'proper' multi-range shifting. As long as that's what they actually supply of course, but same price anyway.

yep, 3 left at Planet X, which had sold out a few days ago, but a bunch more were listed yesterday it seems. Amazingly good price. The groupset comes unboxed apart from the cables, Chorus block, and BB cups.

Gorgeous groupset, also double pivot rear brake assembly, so much better than single pivot in my opinion. It's a steal at this price - only other component you need is bottom bracket, as the set only comes with Record cups.

Joe picked up my gruppo this am, so would highly recommend anyone who wants the same groupset to snap it up from Planet X.

FYI the Record cups ARE the BB (well the actual bearings are on the cranks already), there is no Athena equivalent, all UltraTorque cranks use same BB cups (Record) apart from Super Rec which has identical cups without seals fitted and they work too. There's no Athena-branded chain or cassette either, Athena always uses the Chorus ones. Planet-X only ship English though so you will need to buy a set if Ital reqd.

ah, didn't know that the BB is part of the crankset - so its quite a light chain-set in actual fact!!
