Hi bicycle freaks, hi cyclists,

We`d like to invite you to Leipzig cyclocamp 2012.
It will take place from 28th of august to 2nd of september in leipzig, germany

Cyclocamp leipzig will be a self-organised, non-profit festival for all people who are crazy about cycling.
If you come around, you will find a cosy camping area with infrastructure providing solar showers, toilets, stage, vegan bar, workshop and much more.

“Krisenherd”-collective will cook nice organic and vegan food for you.

Recyclecycle means: built your bike on your own with passion and used materials.
You don’t have to buy new stuff!

Lets try to avoid hierarchies and just have an amazing week together.
No tolerance for racism, homophobia, sexism, oldschool-hetero-normativity and cars!

Cyclocamp leipzig 2012 will be a platform for exchange and networking possibility for bicycle-junkies and their drugs;)

Topics: bikes, bicycle workshops, concerts, bike culture movie program, bikes, critical mass and bike rides, games and competitions, bikes, vegan food, camping, fun swimming in nearby lake, building long cargo bikes and sexy tallbikes or whatever you want icecream and bikes

OH GOOOOOOOOD THIS IS FRUSTRATING.
Leipzig is my favourite town in Europe and I'm even in Germany until that weekend, when we are going to Paris for our honeymoon.

I heartily recommend this to anyone who is thinking about it. Leipzig is the greenest city in Europe, the parks are amazing, most of the roads are quiet and the town centre is bijou and beautiful. The zoo is the best I have ever seen in terms of animal welfare. Also the last Sunday of every month (so August 29th) there is an antiques and junk market in the old agricultural tradeshow grounds on the edge of town, and it kicks the ass of anything comparable I've ever seen in the UK by over 9000.

Coming back to London from my holiday around the start ... have childcare stuff to do in the following few days... Would love to come.
