2012-05-23 - Rider Down, Cranford Way (Off Tottenham Lane)

Air ambulance just landed at by business park, Cranford Way off Tottenhame lane. On of my drivers has witnessed a bike under the wheels of a truck. Thoughts go out to them. Must be serious if the choppers are here.

Terrible news, best wishes with for the rider.

2 broken legs, chopper not needed. They took him in an ambulance in the end. Heal up fellow rider.

Crew were sipping coffee which I made for them as they decided the rider needed an ambulance, and was being attended to by paramedics. There is a lot of shit goes on in this world, a sticker here or there may just bring a smile to one or two faces. Plus its sponsered by virgin... .Not exactly a fucking charity is it?

Erm, it's a registered charity, that as well as being sponsored by Virgin also relies on donations.

All UK air ambulances are charities, relying on corporate and public sponsorship to keep flying, which in turn relies partly on the aircraft looking professional.

I stand corrected and apologies to any offence that my post may have caused.
By the way the rider is now in a stable condition, partly in thanks to my driver who assisted at the scene of the incident and who is also helping the police with their enquiries (whilst not working his self emplyed job and losing money at the same time)..
