Yeah, generally in classifieds you name a price and we go from there...

I think so - I'll have to grab a tape measure to be spot on. I'll do that later Wingnuts.
Clearance? I presume you mean toe? In size 9s I never had toe overlap.

DancefloorTerrorist, Buckaroo - decide what you'd like to pay, make me an offer. If I like your offer, we have a sale. What could be more simple? ;-)

Centre to centre the top tube is 55cm.

It would be 'more simple' if you just named a price.

Read the rules of the classifieds.
http://www.lfgss.com/thread21978-3.html#post2889535I thought naming a price was advisable not obligatory?
From the rules:
Advisory (not rules):
- Update the thread (or close it) when your item has sold and say how much it has sold for.
- Put a price in the first post, with ONO (Or Nearest Offer) if you're willing to negotiate.
This would seem to suggest that should someone wish to ask for offers they can do so. It is a pain, and is much more useful to know what someone is after, but not explicitly against the rules.
Disclaimer: Unless I've missed something somewhere else.

For future reference - this kind of selling is against the rules here

Not according to the forum rules it's not. It's advisory to put a price, but not obligatory.

Sold and gone folks.
Thanks.
Bought Dec 2005, and has been my trusty commuter up until recently. Turns out a 56 top tube is a bit big for me though, so I've gone for a smaller frame now and am much comfier.
This is in perfect working order, I'm lucky to have never been knocked off it too, but I wouldn't describe it as 'in mint condition'. Means it doesn't particularly look all that nickable though ;-)
Open to sensible offers. Collection from Swiss Cottage.
Here are some pics.
