2012-06- 13/17 - Cyclocamp Grenoble

At last, we can send you the poster of the Cyclocamp http://share.freecontrib.org/files/download/public/affiche-cyclocamppdf-affiche_cyclocamp_gre_2012 which will take place in Grenoble between the 13th and the 17th of June. We invite you to spread it around you, to display it in your workshop, to fix it between two spokes of your bike or the like.

Cyclocamp - 12 days, youhoooo !!!!

I'm back to you to give news about the Cyclocamp, let you know about organization and program. Also to ask you to confirm whether you're coming and how many of you. Indeed, we have litlle idea whether we'll be 50 or 200. :)

CycloCamp is a kind of Do-It-Yourself bike workshop festival where attenders take part in running the event. Le p'Tit véLo provides[COLOR=#000000] the infrastructure around his workshop at the University of Saint Martin d'Hères (check on the p'Tit véLo website) and in the mean time, we would like the festival to get as « self-organized » as possible. All participant will be free to take part in the festival organization and offer his/her idea and make it run.

There will be a bike worshop, welding worskhop and old bikes and frames to re-use. A bike tube workshop, a gig place for concert (please feel free to propose a concert), a large tent for lectures, presentations and screenings. We'll also provide all the "weird bikes" we have for you to organise entertainments and contests. We already set up games and rules but of course, you'll be free to change them as you wish.

Next to the gathering point, there will be tables for you to introduce your local bikeworkshop or other project.

A camping place is of course provided. if you'd rather sleep in somebody's place, please let me know as places will be few (as local volunteers will mainly camp on the site)

So, it's up to you to come along with your energy and craziness to make this CycloCamp a great moment. :)

here comes a program sum-up. Of course, it will change every day and especially during the CyloCamp as you will be able to post (on a large board at the "info point") activities you're up to propose :

• Monday and Tuesday : final installation and laying out of the camp. Reception for those who come earlier to kindly give a hand.

• Wednesday all day :
