bob jackson

Has anyone ever had much dealings with bob jackson? I emailed them to ask how long an off the peg frame would take and they havent got back to me. Does anyone know what the wait is like at the moment?

My mistake.

It's a lot better if you just phone them. You can get an answer straight away.

Mine took about 8 weeks back in September / October last year - by phone is best as previous poster has said, they communicated well with me during the build.

Yeah, had a frame repainted (with a couple of repairs/changes) and that took about four weeks. They're really close to me though so I was able to drop in even though they don't have a shop front.

Phone is easy and immediate so as long as you know what you want (or are ready to discuss it) you should have some joy.

Tbf, I sent a message last night and they got back to me this morning...

They vary between very good and prompt, to grumpy, pathetic and embarrassingly slow. Guess depends on how much tetley & biscuits they have left?

I phoned them at the weekend, the guy was very chatty and helpful. Said the wait would be about 4 weeks. Now to choose what colour I want...
