Just to throw another hat into the ring as it's not on that list. My mate Tom is a recently established frame builder based out of Norfolk too....

Worth a look, he's rather good....

the bike on the front page is impressive!
After going through the **awesome ** list of UK framebuilders available at http://framebuilding.com/custom_uk_bicycle_framebuilders.htm I came across Taylor Bicycles, based in Norfolk http://www.taylormadebikes.co.uk/index.html.
I'm currently looking for a rugged cross inspired tourer that can handle anything from dirt roads to trails, or regular road touring. Want to use it for occasional touring, load lugging, and bleak weather commuting, generally want it to be a jack of all non road racing / fixed trades.
Top of my pre-built list is the Salsa Vaya 3, which I would upgrade a bit over time.
I contacted Taylor bikes to see what kind of builds were possible. Everything's done in Reynolds 853 and the frames are custom built, along with the wheels, etc. Got a very competitive quote and sorely tempted to go for my first custom built bike.
Anyone have any experience of Taylor bikes? New company, only started in '06 and also build MTBs.
The head chap is Angus Taylor, comes across as a very decent bloke on email.
Anyone seen one of these in the flesh, or ridden one?
cheers
