Weather folk say rain at 18:00
:-(

Damn this weather! If tonight is cancelled, then that the whole first month of race league rained off!
I'll be there if it's dry.... running an 88" gear.
-
• #4
When are you gonna get them twigs pushing 90"
-
• #6
That was fun racing in the wet!
I left after the sprints.
What was the rest of the evening like? -
• #7
I left after the sprints too.... it was getting a bit sketchy for me!
-
• #8
Have fun cleaning and regreasing your hub and bb bearings!
-
• #9
Hoops - I raced the points race after and it was actually fine.
-

Is there an established list of events for Wesnesday nights? Is there something for sprinters every week?
-
• #11
The weather is looking a bit grim for the league tonight.
-
• #12
I cant make it this week anyway.
Hope it drys up for ya'll! -

The weather is looking a bit grim for the league tonight.
There's a heavy rain warning from the met office for this afternoon and tonight. Looks like racing could be patchy...
-
• #14
Looks to me like it'll be alright, have fun! I'll be pretending to myself that I'm studying, so no go for me :(
-
• #15
presumably last night was postponed?
-
• #16
Looks like the youth racing went ahead, didn't seem to rain like the forecast promised.

results from 06 may on BC site,
nothing from 8th?
thats light years ago
what else have I got to be stressed about on a wet day during SATS week ffs -
• #18
Results take ages! They won't even be at BCHQ yet, don't expect some kind of instantaneous data transfer.
-
• #19
Results form the Back in Black meeting on the 15th of April have only just gone on too tbf.
With regards to that, does anyone know why we would get 5 BC points for plodding round at a leisurely pace and coming 5th in the team pursuit but a big fat nil points for winning the team sprint? I suspect we may have been docked points for Hillbilly starting his man 1 effort on the tops...
-
• #20
No points for sprint events.
-
• #21
Ah, is that because sprinting is so obviously very easy?
-
• #22
BC points for "road/track" define your racing category for road racing which hardly any track sprinters do. Plenty of world level sprinters are 'still' 4th cats.
-
• #23
But yeah, it's easy because you "only do a lap/two laps/three laps" and {insert "deckchair" related comment here}
-
• #24
I'm not complaining, I just found it quite funny that we could get more "reward" for pootling round just to make up the numbers that for the event we actually busted a gut in.
Deckchair knockers can do one too.

speaking of deckchairs.... have all you sprinters out there got your 2012 Olympics 'sprinters edition' badges?
Hope the weather holds out for this tonight.
Who's racing?
What gear to run on the new surface?
