  • Does anyone have an experience with them and what's the difference between just I-CLIC ² and I-CLIC ² RACER? Looks like they made out of the same materials, same everything, but the colour.

  • i've got them on my road bike. really easy to get in and out of as you would expect and nice float but fucking hell the cleats are useless-really soft plastic and wear out v. fast. I go through a pair every 3 months if I'm riding a lot so much so I got some cheapo crank bros as a replacement as they have brass cleats but then realised i need a conversion plate on my bonts so shelved them. Might go over to Look again... Do the racers not have a carbon spring and ti axle? I know they did a lightweight version.

  • I was reading somewhere, that was an issue with iClic (1) and then they improved the cleats material... Racers have composite body and steel axle with flexible carbon blade. They do carbon and titan carbon versions too, but they're way more expensive.

  • i have the 'improved' cleats... they're basically the same in terms of wear. the first edition cleats main issue was snapping.

  • ouch. the cleats aren't cheap either...

  • no... I like the way they perform but it pisses me off when companies are so cynical about getting aftermarket revenue. buy some and you'll see what i mean!

  • i was thinking of getting them, now not so much.

  • i would definitely budget for a min. 2 sets of cleats a year if you do... or if you see ribble selling them cheap on sale or whatever stock up like I did!
