Which route were you thinking? London to Paris via Dieppe is 300km - and the ferry is at a reasonable time - it leaves England at 23:00, ariving in Dieppe for 04:00 ready for the 200km into Paris...
I've never tried the Calais option, though I'm aware its a good 300km on the French side only...

Clearly this should be coincided with the final of the Tour de France... I'm planning to be in Paris for the final and will ride back to London from Paris... leaving Tuesday 24th July. So if this does go ahead, and you ride to Paris, and anyone fancies riding back...

that sounds amazing. i will try and do this. i'm not sure what route to take to be honest. i thought it would be good to just get ideas beforehand.

I'd be interested in doing the Dieppe / Avenue Verte route (dates permitting).

I'm interested depending on dates.

me too. any suggestions other than around the 24th July?
Just trying to get an idea what's possible.
hello there forumongers.
I would like to just see what interest there is in a ride to paris for charity. I guess some time in July might be pretty good for me. I'm up for organising it if there's enough interest. it would be nice to get there in 2 days, so you'd have to be pretty badass to be in on this. My old man has a campervan which he said he would quite like to follow in, with spares etc (just to speed things up in case of any problems).
anyway, that's my suggestion and i'm sticking to it. it IS just a suggestion, nothing definitive in terms of dates or anything because I don't know what holiday i can get from work.
