  • They had long names in the old days didn't they? Anyway, I originally got the bike off a guy up the road from ebay, someone had painted a load of hammerite all over the BB and chain stays where there was some rust, so restoring the paint wasn't really an option. It seems like at some point someone had taken all the parts which were quite high end at the time I think. So I kept the frame, forks and cottered cranks/BB and put a load of new stuff on it. I presume you guys won't approve, so rip it apart!

  • Your arms must be very long

  • Yeah the frame is a little small for me... Probably didn't need a stem that long, but it was £1.24 off ebay, so I couldn't really say no...

  • Switched out the pedals as it was looking a little lacking in colour. Have since switched the stem for a real short old ITM one, as the long reach one was really not that comfortable. I love the look of the original cranks, but cottered cranks really do suck as much as everybody says they do, so have got some white track cranks in the post. Thinking I might have to get red cables...
