Clamont TT Frame and forks – sold
Very rare and unique looking lo-pro frame with Campag dropouts both ends and some really nice detailing, particularly at the rear with flattened wishbones and rear triangle and fluted seat tube. Research suggests the frame was built in Australia by Geoff Scott for Clamont Cycles, probably in late 80’s/early 90’s.

Measurements – (not the easiest frame to measure but here goes) –
Seat tube (top to centre BB) – 64cm
Top tube (top of seat tube to head tube, therefore effective length) – 63cm
Basically I’m 6’1” and this fits me perfectly.

Bars – 24seven risers with Oury grips and Goldfinger lever - dibs camv1612
Stem – Nitto BMX quill stem - £35

Front Wheel – Spin 650 clincher with braking surface, Gatorskin still looks good - dibs wee math

Rear Wheel – Zipp 440 carbon rim laced to 24 hole fixed/fixed On-One rear track hub, silver double butted spokes, Tufo tub, lots of miles left as barely used, 18t Surly cog one side, 17t Shimano cog the other - dibs - wee math

    Cranks - Vintage 167.5 Gipiemme Pista crankset + Gipiemme 47t chainring - £135

Pedals – MKS RX-1 pedals with MKS (medium) cages (all NJS) and double Christophe straps, ostrekolo doublers to hold it all in place - £?

Chain - D.I.D Pro Racing NJS Silver chain with extra links - £20

    Now splitting ......

Dibs followed by a pm as usual please.
    Collection from Stoke Newington, N16.

  • so so so so sick. . that stem!

  • Bummer............. if only you would consider, even if just for a moment, the possibility that you might just, even maybe, that is . . . . . . . yes......... ( spliting ) . yes I said it......... ' spliting ' ............. i would so really like, even maybe, that is......... have the frame off you............. for a few pennies of course.

  • You know you really want the whole thing ..........

  • Awesome frame! Just like my old clamont pursuit.

    Good luck with the sale!

  • Yep, when I saw yours it gave some clues about the frame's origins.

You'll agree that the ride is fantastic.

    This.

Very rare BMX stem, gives the front end just the right amount of lift.

  • Just buy the whole bike and split it yourself.

Ah, good idea........... but I already have the bits............. the frame is just...... lovely.
I would end of with a shed full of bits I don't need. I already have that !
How's about you buy the bits and that will mean i can have the frame... eh, good idea, what do you think ?

  • I've had a pm already about the front wheel, just need someone to take the rear and the cranks and your shed will be empty again.

  • Wait n, wait n, wait n.

  • No firm offers yet for the full build, so still up for grabs.

  • You may find that no one wants to part with that amount of money. I sold my 1980's Raleigh rebuild here for only £250.
You may have to rethink. :-(

  • Would b dib n on the frame that ur not split n. Any other takers ?

  • Still not keen to split as I've not got much time on my hands to strip it down and sort out selling the parts separately.

Open to offers if anyone wants to take the lot.

  • Still pestering you for the frame. I see there is a Basso lo pro for sale at around £300. I would have it and leave you alone only it's to small.
    Pester,pester,pester.

  • interested in the cranks and bb if you could split and post it.
