I've got a couple of 26.8 seatposts, a short scratched black one with Koga written on it, and an almost new silver Push one, very long.
I've also got a single used Schwalbe Lugano tyre you could have for free.
If you wanted one of the seatposts and the tyre, that could be a tenner?
(if you're interested I can put up photos tomorrow evening, I'll be busy until then unfortunately)

What length stem do you need?

^^I'd like a picture of the black one if that's alright. What colour is the tyre?
^Not hugely fussed because I'm not building it for me, so around 80mm I suppose.

Hey, did you get my PM re the freewheel and cranks? Cheers, Tom

tommmmmmm I've got a caliper (Condor) you can have for free. Only thing is that it's missing the press clamp bit for the cable..

^^ Yeah thanks for that, I've replied at last.
Apollo, I'll give you a text and hopefully come over this afternoon/evening.

I'm happy to trade either of the above seatposts for anything on the list by the way.

I have a 20t freewheel new and unused.

Nice one, I just PM'd you about the bars so I'll have a look at that at the same time.

I'd also be very happy with a 700c (or 27" for that matter) wheelset with a 5-speed freewheel block. I've been toying with the idea of making the 531 frame into a nice summery town bike.

First seatpost on the left is 26.8 (but it's a suspension seatpost sadly). The third one from the left is 26.4. £5 for either.
These are all standard 26mm quill stems. Different lengths £5 each.
Top row, third from left is a Shimano dual pivot front brake with allen key fitting. Top row, far left is a pair of weinmann 50mm drop calipers. £12 for shimano. £7 for weinmanns.
I've also got four or five sets of used tyres in varying widths between 23mm and 28mm and varying condition. Redwall, whitewall, amberwall. No photos yet - sorry. Also about five or six drop handlebars. Again, no photos yet - sorry.
I'm in SW2 near Brockwell Park if you want to have a look at any of this stuff. Send me a PM if so. Cheers.

3TTT Stem £10ish (120mm long, not sure if 25.4 or 26 - maybe there is a way of finding out that I haven't thought about?)Interested in anything? Prices are pretty flexible as I don't know what would constitute a fair price and I'm more wanting to clear up some space than to make money.

I got a 26.8mm seatpost this afternoon only to find that the bike I thought needed one actually needed 26.4mm, and the bike I thought needed 26.4 needs 25.4. But thanks anyway!
I'd be keen on the stem if you could determine the size, but the only way I could think of to do that would be to try it with 26mm bars and see if it would go. Where are you based? And thanks!

Based in Warwick Avenue, working in Farringdon.
I know it fits on the bars on my bike, but I'm not sure what size they are either. I'll see if I can find out what size they are - I don't have a vernier caliper, so can't find out that way, but I might be able to find out from the model name + internet investigation.

Hilary Stone says that 3TTT stems are 26:
Quill stems come with different clamp diameters and occasionally different quill diameters.
Common clamp diameters are 26.4mm (most Cinelli pre-1995), 26.0mm (3TTT, Mavic, some ITM, some Nitto) and 25.4mm (SR, GB, some Nitto and ITM)

They do seem to do other sizes as well, 25.8mm too, but I suppose that would fit as well.
Thinking about it, 120mm might be a bit long though. The bike it's going on already has a longer top tube than seat tube, with a long stem as well it's only going to be fit for someone with gibbon-like proportions. I might have to give it a miss I'm afraid, though I really do appreciate you going to the trouble of uploading all the pics and doing the research.

Although in typical Planet X style, the options at the bottom of the page actually say it's a 26.
No problem, I'm going to make a sale thread some time anyway so needed to take photos etc. I found the stem too long as well which is why I swapped it out.

Right, I'm now almost finished with the first build, but I really need brake calipers.
Dual pivot, nut fitting, c.50mm drop. Tektro R538/R539, something like that. Anyone got anything?
1.) 700c single speed/fixed wheelset, 130mm rear spacing
2.) 25.4mm bullhorns3.) 26mm quill stem
4.) 25.4mm seatpost5.) 26.8mm seatpost6.) cheap 700c tyres (23-28mm)7.) Front allen key brake caliper (preferably dual pivot & black), c.50mm drop8.) F&R dual caliper hex nut fitting brake calipers, c.50mm drop
9.) 18-20t freewheel10.) 42-46t single speed chainset
Show me what you've got!
Edit: Thanks to Diamond Supercool I now have a few of the parts that I was after. But I have also discovered that I need a 25.4mm seatpost as well.
I also have two seatposts for sale, which I stupidly bought without knowing the exact measurements I needed:
1.) 27.2mm SR Sakae Laprade, short and fluted, £5
2.) 27.0mm Tahoma, very long and very light, £5.SOLD
