Hi Chris
Is the 7 speed 13-21 Regina index compatible?
Cheers

hi chris,
i'm not entirely certain of this, i've been using this with friction shifters and i know the regina cx series were developed for syncro shifting so technically speaking this extra isn't suited for indexed shifters but so are most of the 7 speed blocks.
what shifters are you going to be using out of curiosity?
cheers

Hi I have a Regina America 7sp in its black can, 12-20, NOS. This takes a splined remover. £60. Let me know if you want a photo.
Also have two Regina America superleggera chains, the ones in red cans with hollow pins. NOS £40 each.

I will be using Dura Ace 7401 7 speed shifters but I want them indexed as I already have 4 bikes built with C-Record Delta on Friction,& one with C-Record 8 Speed indexed, Also another C-40 with Dura Ace 7402 STI. So this Look KG86 frame I want set up with late 80's stuff.

For indexed, I'd recommend either the 7400 Dura Ace models (Uniglide twist-tooth) or the last revision of the Sachs blocks which were designed for indexing and used the Shimano spline pattern (way better than 2 or 4-prong).
There's a Sachs here that sounds like it needs some heavy oil and a run-in:

yea I've already seen the e-bay one. these were the freewheels I used to sell many moons ago. so i know they work OK indexed.

I think the Regina Americas are pre indexing...
The remover is a bugger to find...

Ok so Regina Americas are a no go for indexing.

Ok so Regina Americas are a no go for indexing.
I've used (and use) America 6 and 7 speed with Campag Syncro index levers, and have not had any problems. I use period Regina chains, including the hollow pin ones. There's a Regina Syncro 90, which I also use, but it doesn't work any better than the America for me.
I've not tried it with Shimano, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
Sorry, I don't have any for sale though...

OK Thank you to everyone that has responded to my request but I now have the freewheels I need.
Cheers
Chris
Anyone have a good quality 7 speed screw on freewheel 12-21, 13-21, or what have you?
PM with details & price photo if possible please.
Also I need a few serrated washers for brake caliper mounting Campag or Shimano type
Thanks
Chris
NOW SORTED THANK YOU
