Alarmed padlocks

  • I took the plunge and bought an almost new Pashley Guv'nor in the third highest cycle theft area in the country!

I'm going to keep this bike in a locked store cupboard so thought a padlock alarm would be the best bet.

I haven't read any decent reviews on these padlock alarms due to poor battery performance, but saw this one for £11...anyone used this?

  • Looks a bit too cheap to me. Take a look at some motorcycle dealers such as Hein Gerike, M&P or Buster's Accessories. There are better quality alarmed padlocks out there. Xena is a known brand that comes to mind.

  • +1 mbike have been using alarmed disc padlocks for 10years + now. Probably want to spend about £20-35 should get a very good one.
