hi all

i was hoping for a bit of info in regards to anyone who may have done this or a similar route.. any info relating to routes, iphone apps, sites where i can map such a route out.

doing this fixed on my own in a few weeks and realised i need to start doing some planning.

You wanna map your route out following the 10 to Indio. LA isn't exactly bike-friendly to ride through though. It's about 150 miles from lax to there.

I went a couple of years ago and it was hot to the point where I found it difficult (as a Brit) to move between about 10am to 4pm. Pack your sunny stuffs.
