Wanted: Cheap, strong, 165mm 48t 1/8" chainset

  • While changing my cog today, I noticed that my chainring is ever-so-slightly bent. It's a Sugino Maxy and is one of the all-in-one kinds so I need the complete deal.

Something that's strong enough to deal with my Hoy-like thighs and 85kg bulk grinding up hills without folding would be nice.

  • Does it have to be 165mm?
What colour are you after? I have some black 170mm cranks. Not sure about the chainring. Either 48t or 46t

  • Doesn't have to be, but I'd prefer them I think.

    Got a picture?

  • I'll most likely be splitting my FOrt and the TA Specialities cranks w BB if you'd be interested. Not uber cheap but also nothing ridiculous. There's pics of them on my thread.. Cheers, Tom

  • Cheers for getting back to me fellow Tom, they are lovely cranks but I think they are a bit out of my price range, ideally I'd be looking under £40. Ambitious but possible I'm sure.

    So, bump!
