Mahogany Handlebars.

Currently building a custom build fixed gear.
I have just received my hand-made handlebars, Mahogany mmmm..
Let me know what you think? I know alot of people don't warm to wooden handlebars.

The clamp area looks like a beautiful piece of workmanship, you'll have to start filing your own lugsets next.
Are the bars laminated for strength or one piece?

I have a 1950's holdsworth with nice lugwork that these will be going on. It's just one piece with the polished spacer set in.

i quite like them. i could make some as i'm a furniture maker, i have already made some wooden drum hoops for my snare drum which worfked well.

how much did they cost you to get made?
