Looks like decent idea.
Shame about the awful website, sounds are annoying and the "cursor" just blocks fucking everything.Flash>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I couldn't actually view the web site at all.
At least the KickStarter site works.
You should get them to redo their main site. Too many iPhone and iPad users will just not be able to access it. And I can't think of any reason that they needed to do it in Flash.

Actually, using Lynx I can read their web page (when I remove the broken flash.html bit):
Full windsor is a london based bicycle accessories design company.
So what do we do?We come up with new product ideas from behind the handle bars. We then rigorously trial them whilst dodging double decker buses around
the streets of London. Our products are not your run of the mill, and that's what we are all about - designing creative, functional
products that users enjoy, and love to use.Our flagship FoldnFix and Quickfix mudguards require no tools, they use their origami form and your bicycle's frame to give them their
rigid structural strength. They fold flat and are easily stored in your bag. The Foldnfix attaches with cable ties for a more permanent solution, while the
Quickfix simply clicks on and off when wet out.Our Mudguards are now available to keep your derrières nice and dry through Cycle Surgery, Wiggle, Condor Cycles, Look Mum No Hands,
Fitzrovia Bicycles, SJS Cycles and Bavabici (Stockholm - Sweden)Take a look at our QuickFix Mudguard Demo and FoldnFix Mudguard Demo
Hey! Why not download flash here and get the full 'Full Windsor' experience.

But now I'm in Lynx I have no images.
Flash doesn't work well on my machine... actually, it's broken. It thinks that it's installed, but it doesn't work. Usually this is good, I just get this advertless experience, but if people go and create whole websites in Flash, I just get a blank page.
Oh well, the Kickstarter looks good anyway and tells you more... why did they even need a website in addition to it?
I suspect they'd already have their target if they didn't get an agency to build them a site in Flash.

really good mudguards though. I've been using one throughout winter and it's great.

I saw these a few weeks ago and though they were a pretty good idea - I don't think the tail is long enough to keep all the spray off though. Perhaps a little extension would rectify that.
Good idea though; I will be buying some for my parents who refuse to put mudguards on their hybrids and come home with brown streaks up their backs.

This ^ is funny. Why do people think modern bike=no mudguards?!

It's not just nodders (no offence to lae's parents) who can't get their heads round mudguards though Skully. Yesterday I went out with 30 odd riders and whilst most had clip on guards of some kind there was all sorts of shenanigans with front-raceblades-on-the-back, or half-a-crudcatcher-held-on-with-leccy-tape. After 30 miles everyone looked like Veronica Moser.
I'll be riding on the front until shit's sorted out.

These quickfix ones look good for around-town tarck bikes. Best of luck to your flatmate and his business.

I wished that I had mudguards today.

Just had a look at the Kickstarter site- sadly they won't work for me (wishbone rear stay).
Looks like a nice elegant solution though.

My friend had full SKS guards fitted to his
halfords bikeBoardman CX Comp Pro. It can be done. -

I think Kickstarter site is only on for 30 days, while he needs a site for suppliers and shops who are already buying from him. So a website with his branding was a must.
While he wants $5,000, he is probably hoping for 2 or 3 times more so they can hit more states before someone copy it.
BTW I am just guessing, by no mean the official statement from Full Windsor ;)

I had that mudguard today.

The site is a horrible experience. Also I suggest the part that attaches to the seat tube folds the wrong way and will lead to wet legs from splash back.

I had it on today, didn't notice splash back. Which direction do you think the splash would be coming from?

Based in Hackney?
Yet if I buy via kickstarter as a non US address I have to pay $15 postage for my $15 mudguard?
Am I missing some on ions way of not paying the non US postal fee?
Thanks

Doesn't quite have aesthetic of empty, halved, white cider bottle but cool idea if you don't run fixed mudguards

I think they've already launched in the UK - the kickstarter is for a US launch.
Very neat idea.
Hey there guys and girls, my flatmate has just released his innovative folding quickfix mudguards onto kickstarter. He needs your help to get the word out. Full Windsor is based in Hackney Wick, so your support will be helping a local home grown bicycle accessory brand!!
