Wanted: MKS GR9 Pedals, Double toe clips

I'm after a pair of GR9 pedals and a pair of double toe clips, for my beater build. I've already got straps sorted.

I'm not in London, so unless you're local to me (Coventry) they would need to be posted.

great pedals, if you have to buy new I think Wiggle is one of a few that stocks that MKS model

I've seen them around, but thought I'd see what the second hand market was like :) It's for a beater, after all!

I have some Suntour Superbe quills, but my feet just can't get on with them so looking for something a bit flatter, but still able to take double straps.

ye Ive been using them for around 1 year and tried some caged pedals for a day just recently and hated them, gr9 are so much more comfortable, caged quill pedals were made for slotted cleats and stiff soled shoes

Can you run double straps on the GR9s? They only have one set of slots so I'd assumed they'd only take a single strap.

Hmn. Interesting question. GR9's were suggested to me, the thought never crossed my mind!

Hah. Yeah :) I might consider an alternative... I just want a less aggressive pedal, that won't cripple my feet, as my current Superbe quills do!

Yep, that's the reason I bought GR9s and I love them. I've always planned on running double straps though I never bothered to look into it until just now. Hmm...

these are the pedals i was going to get after reading good reviews, but i already have a pair of genetic double strap toe clips and to be honest can't be bothered to fork out more money for some single strap clips.

the only other pedal i got recommended was the sylvans, but not sure whether they will suit my shoe choice which is mainly just any trainers.

I've run doubles for ages with GR9s, they work just fine. yes, only the double cage holds the strap in place but with nice stiff straps it's not a problem.
