Selling on behalf of my father as he is currently on the waiting list for his second "bionic" hip .....his words ,not mine

He was the second owner and purchased it approx 1996 ,it has been well cared for,cleaned after every ride ,kept indoors and regularly serviced

Measurements are seat tube 59cm c-c and top tube 56cm c-c , front/rear mech shimano RX100,shifters RX100 indexed and friction , canti brakes shimano STX,front wheel Mavic open pro on shimano STX RC hub , rear wheel Ambrosio Evolution on Sora 8-9 speed hub ,shimano triple chainset

It is currently running 7 speed cassette on rear with shimano spacer but could easily be upgraded to 8 or 9 speed cassette

Has been fitted with new tyres,cassette,chain and bottom bracket ,headset was repacked a couple of years ago and is fine ,it could do with new brake blocks soon as these are still the original ones !!

Also have original full length mudguards and rear rack

No major rust issues with just a small amount of blistering on chainstays, one scratch on top tube a tiny dint on top tube (probably a handlebar dint) and a couple of chips on headtube

If you have problems selling this put it on the ctc forum, it'll go very quickly..
Solid well made frames these, nothing fancy but go on for an age, kicks sand into the face of a galaxy anyday

Thanks for that Mr Bump , my dad actually sold his galaxy to buy this so I think he would agree
Will give it a few days and then try elsewhere ,no urgency yet

If I didn't already have 2 touring machines and a hoard of racing bikes I'd take this for myself
have a free bump in any case :o)
