Surprised to read this, Matt. What's the new plan - a road bike with aerobars? A dedicated geared TT beast? I'm looking forward to seeing it. In the meantime, please accept my condolences on your loss and my sympathies for you having to ride your Nord France cool whip.

Nope hed not for sale at the moment. Sorry!
Sheathy, yeah i dont see why not, will need a bit of elbow grease and leverage
-
• #8
Rich, lozzles! Im undecided between a road/tt bike or a full tt but either way its gonna be full sram red and hed wheels.Watch this space its gonna take a while...
-
• #9
Personally I'd go for a road/tt half-and-half, but then again I like hills while you like riding in circles for 1km. (Generalising, I know!)
I admire your efforts to downsize. I'm (half-heartedly) trying to do the same.

Yeah both you and tom have advised me on the road with tt option and i think thats the way ill go. Im quite taken with the px rt57 new road frame, hmmm.

How many teeth on the chainring? if 48 (looks like it?) then provisional dibs, so long as the tapers are good.
-
• #12
Yep 48t and theyve been installed maybe 4 times in the last 3 years or so, threads all fine.
-
• #13
For future reference, is the hed a clincher?
-
• #14
Yep. Which is why im probably keeping it :-)

Danns - Not heard anything back on the cranks, you still interested?
-
• #16
Sorry about the delay - PMed

• #17
pmd re cranks
-
• #18
Cranks prov sold to danns.
May have been optimistic with the disc price. Will take 125 for it. Bear in mind this is a track spaced 120mm disc with da axle, not too common and a better arrangement than a quick release.

Cranks now sold.
OP updated.
