Removing the cover and the grease makes it spin soo smooth. Looks cool, but not suited for rainy days.

Not suited for any days, you dont want anything getting in there...

Im aware of that. The tip came from the mechanic of Norwegian racer Thor Hushovd on the Norwegian national team. They used to remove the covers in the late 80s for lower resistance. But i agree with you. Sand and water doesnt belong :)

Only because the course would be prepared for a race, so the roads would be clear of debris etc.
Youll never feel the lower resistance while riding, but you will feel your wallet getting lighter cause eventually they will have to be repaired/replaced.
Dont wanna sound like an arse, but its a lovely bike; lets make it last as long as possible eh? :P
Now hurry up with more photo's cause im dying to see more! ;) -

+1. Everything else looks so skinny and elegant.
Hi guys.
This is my 1986 De Rosa.Frame comes from ebay. Last owner lived in California. The frame is super nice with only some small chips. it still has its orginal paintjob.
I have some nos super record components from the 80s ready to go.
