For Sale: OT: Nikkor AF 24-85mm f2.8-4 D lens

I'm selling this lens and thought I'd see if anyone here was interested before it goes on ebay. It's a really nice lens, suitable for full frame cameras as well as those with the more common DX format sensor. The wide aperture means it's very versatile and works fantastically in a wide range of conditions. Another useful feature is that it has a macro mode, allowing for very close focusing.

In terms of the condition of the lens, it's excellent, it shoots as if it were brand new, it's also in excellent condition cosmetically, no noticeable scratches or fading to the barrel, and it's had a protective filter on since I bought it brand new a few year ago, the filter is included in the sale. The weird thing is, the lens cap seems to have taken a bit of a beating for some reason, probably becuase it spends most of it's time in a pocket with keys etc. It's pretty scratched up but fine and is the only way you'd be able to tell the lens isn't brand new really.
