Are you going to be using New Format rules?
Also, just two teams from London? could we bring more if we can get more (I only ask as I'm keen to play, but have no expectations of making the North London A team)

we haven't agreed how we're going to split the two teams have we?
-

John could you cheat a bit and have a Bedford or Essex team? I think we could theoretically create a Surrey/Middlesex team?

Ha. Team Bethnal Green/Hackney. Best team in UK Polo.
Cambridge, don't forget to ask Canterbury, they might have enough:

London could easily field 3 teams, depending on how many go.

Birmingham should be up for this.

This. Getting tired of the north / south divide bs.

No doubt London could field many teams, but preference will go to the UK scenes. The idea being this is a fun regional tournament to get as much of the UK involved, plus to really kick off the UK association and get ideas going. London presence is crucial for the above reasons, we want as many of you there as possible.
What Josh didn't mention in the first post is that we want you to submit your bench team choices (draft your team as you feel fit/fair) by the 3rd March and then we'll see how many of those bench teams we can accommodate during the 2 day single court tournament and make cuts in good time as appropriate, again following the above logic (UK-wide first priority, LDN still gets min 2 teams).

I'm only joking, there were a few conversations about it over the weekend, that was suggested.

WTF? It's the LPC, not the SLPC & the NLPC.
-
• #19
surely we(london) should have an A team and a B team. Otherwise you're splitting the best players...
Just thinking aloud...
Let's take this to the LPC forum.

Another terrific Poster from Devorah Hall-http://www.devorahhall.blogspot.com
Cambridge is Proud to announce the First Uk Regional Bench Minor.
This will be a two day event on one court.
Format will be round robin. 30minute Games unlimited goals.
We were hoping to get a team from ever region/county/city.
Each team will consist of between 6-10 players. Although we will welcome subbing from other regions if one region alone can not fill a full line up.
What we are suggesting is that every region/county select a captain and they then form a team and send us the final team list at Cambridgebikepolo@gmail.com by the 1st of March.
Possible regions, What we had listed.
Cambridgex2
Londonx2
Manchester
Sheffield
Brighton
Bristol/Cardiff
Edinburgh/Glasgow
Any other regions/counties are welcome.
