Really?
Well in the spirit of the forum. Heal up Theresa.

the MP? Holy shit.

Transport Minister.
Obviously it's appalling news, maybe Something Will Be Done?

• #5
Woops! Misread title, thought it said Theresa Villiers Goes Down.
-
• #6
I went to college with her. A lady.

• #8
Knew someone would be old enough to get it ;-)

I keep seeing that blonde knob-wart mayor chap bumbling along (not on a Doris either, tut) on my commute and can't help but will him to come into contact with a solid object at high velocity. I'd quite like that to happen to the whole tory party mind you. Especially that little worm gove.
-
• #11
Humm not really cool to wish harm on anybody, even little worms like Michael Gove. Get well soon Theresa Villiers.
-
• #12
Come on, Tories aren't real people-everyone knows that. They are the animal world's revenge on people: Gove is a worm, Dave is a lizard, Pickles is a Sperm Whale, Osborne is a Manatee, Mensch is a Macaque... and so on and so forth.
-
• #13
So why would it be OK to wish harm on animals? ;)
-
• #14
It's like animal farm, innit-they're trying to take shit over so all their reptilian tory friends can come and build exclusive gated communities and boat clubs in the cities where they are free to resume their animal form and quaff sherry and eat fly-caviar. Must be stopped before it's too late, even the cycling ones.

It never takes too long for LFGSS threads to go completely chaotically off-topic. ;)
-
• #16
Hmmm, hope she gets back on her bike soon.
-
• #17
Yep, heal up cyclist. I wonder if she leaned

It's clearly a very very dangerous pastime.
Prepare yourself for a ban on cycling.P.S - Luci repped

^ that wouldn't surprise

P.S - Luci repped
+1
Here's hoping she heals up - nice to see her on her bike, as opposed to a ministerial motorcade >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>but>>>>>> bikeradar>>>>> was she wearing a helmet?
But had she worn an iggle piggle costume, she'd have walked away unscathed & no doubt would be taken more seriously
-

Feel bad that she's been injured on a bicycle but I can't help feeling the fallout will be things like mandatory helmet laws, not better infrastructure. Although she's still been injured and these aren't really the threads to discuss such things.
Sure she's a nice lady, despite being a Tory, and wishing her a speedy recovery!

If you were trying to be funny, you have failed spectacularly.
Injury to any cyclist is not funny, whatever their political views.
-
• #24
Really? I fell off at the lights when I was still clipped in and hurt my elbow once. I'm pretty sure that was funny for anyone that saw it. I think I was an Anarcho-Syndicalist at that point though so maybe that was what made the difference.

I think it is quite nice that a transport minister cycles. At least she will have some idea of what cycling round London involves and the risks.
Knocked off her bike, bust collar bone, in the paper Standard.
