  • On the "Ride East" the other day, I posed this question to a few others but didn't get any difinitive answers. So the question is What's the collective noun for cyclists?

Someone suggested a skid of fixies, which I like but it doesn't cover all cyclists.

    Any suggestions?

  • A cuntard of cyclists.

  • A noddage of fluorescents? Or maybe a fluorescent of nodders?

  • A 'peloton' maybe?

  • ^It'll never catch on

  • A confusion of nodders?

  • In the context of club cycling it has long been 'a herd' , as with cats.

  • A 'peloton' maybe?

peleton is your actual french for platoon, btw.

  • I always thought a collection of cyclists was referred to as a 'bitch' of cyclists.

  • A cuntard of cyclists.

    This

    Or

    a fucko of cyclists

  • a tapir

  • I like an 'embarrassment of mother-in-laws'

  • The collective noun for all ex girlfriends is a 'Facebook'.

  • A Porn of Fixies

    A Pannier. of Commuters.

    A Red of Nodders.

    A Tangle of Bromptons.

  • Can I suggest

    A skid of fixies
    A rack of commuters
    A glow of nodders
    A fold of bromptons
    A wobble of pashleys
    A creak of Boris bikes
    A stretch of roadies

  • A huddle of (RL)Jumpers

  • A flange of cyclists

  • A fold of bromptons is very good indeed.

  • A folly of triathlonists.

  • A wallet of titanium bikes.

  • An escalade of climbers.

  • A creak of vintage buffs.

    A barbag of tourists.

    A quiff of fixed porteurs

    An araldite of Alans

    A dustpan of weightweenies.

  • A scoble of headset spacers?

  • a pillockton of cyclists.

  • Remember that for forum rides it's a hipeleton
