Cheers, think the shortest 26.0 thomson stem was 90 or 100, need a 70mm one unfortunately..
Ja, think inverse shims is the right word here ;) -

what width are they, if they're 42 maybe you should sell them to me and buy some 25.4s.....

Haha they're 38, sorry to disappoint ;)

Ahh, sorry, replied in haste.

Think paramount is selling a 70mm Thomson. It's 31.8 clamp but if you get a 26mm converter that'll work fine?

Cheers mate, I'm debating the 25.4 one due to the smooth steerer clamp it's got as I tend to smack my knee off the bolts on the o/s one..

That's the best advice you're going to get on here.
Buying a component which you know to be the wrong size seems a bit mad.
Hey, looking for some advice here and to see what ppl think. Apologies if this has already been covered..
I've got a set of 26.0 nitto rb002s and I'm wondering if they'd be ok to clamp into a 25.4 ahead stem? Thinkin a thomson as it'll fulfill pretty much what I'm looking for..
Can it be done, have ppl tried it, is it safe etc?
Many thanks either way and let us know :) Tom
