  • Anyone doing this? Would like to get involved. Maybe train down or hire a van if a few London types wanted to go down?

  • I've done this twice and it's a really well organised ride. Both times I've just turned up and paid on the day.

  • I am doing it this year, along with bigpaintbrush. It was a really nice ride last time I did it - nicely challenging without being a killer.

Well organised too and very good food stops.

Rained like a pig last time, and everyone was getting punctures, I had 4! I would recommend sturdy tyres if it's wet. I think it is because the road surface is made from very sharp Flinty stones.

  • i've done a couple of the action medical rides before and the food stops are absurd. they put on a full on buffet lunch at the half way point - sandwiches, pasta, rice salads etc as well as the usual cakes and bananas etc. thing is i never wanna stop and hang around to eat it so it's kind of wasted on me. very well organised and friendly staff etc though

  • I did this last year, well organised and well signposted. Big mixture of roads but watch out for a very tight turn as you come down Goudhurst hill about 15 miles from the end.
