So I keep coming across bikes like this I like, they're not porn, not anti, not rat/beater/frankenbikes, trick, Lo-Pros or polo bikes...

So I thought it was about time we had a thread to discuss and admire our favourite guilty pleasures... I'm not talking HHSB as in colour coded everything, supreme stickers and ironic saddle angle.... Just something kind of awesome that you would actually own or ride.

Ok, I'll leave you with this bit of" probably not true but a fantastic story any way"ness.

The reason that Bianchi's are the colour that they are, despite the fact that they are named "white" is that Mr Bianchi is colour blind. So wat started out as being a white bike company in honor of the man that owned the company changed when his head paint mixer thought it would be funny to see how much blue he could get away with putting in the paint before the colour blind Mr. Bianchi noticed. That is how we have ended up with that particular shade of blue/green.

That was sick to the power of rad, any idea if it's being well looked after by the new owner?

It got stripped... he didn't feel comfortable riding on the tartan princess.
But afaik he still rides it.

Plan is in the works to send new Geek back to Marty to be tartanified and altered, easier now as my dad lives about 400yards from him.

Shame about it getting stripped, but yeah I guess it wasn't a bike to be ridden discreetly.
