What are your plans for 2012?

Why do you want this xanderh? I only ask as I might be able to offer advice at least where the industry is concerned.

I plan to be incongruously in love with a new Springbar Campsite 3 while retaining my car-free existence. Will rent or borrow when the need to get away arises. I'm mostly done with light weight camping, though still admire my modified Spacepacker (partly because of the name).

Going to start an open university degree in environmental science. Cut down to just 3 bikes, permanently this time

I will pass my driving test, fix up and sell my wife's car, finish doing up my flat, sell it while the Olympics boost the price and move South West to see if I can kill West Beers too. I will try not to break any more bones. I will try to buy a Commer camper van, customise it, stick the bikes in the back and go camping in retro style. I will see some of the Paralympics, having failed to get tickets for the actual Olympics.

You would be very welcome out west. You cannot kill West Beers: we don't have East's ironic indifference to social activities.

A friend did it last year and loved it. Apparently the got so much out of it.
They came in to my uni to give a lecture and it sounded great. Hopefully if i get on it will give me that thing that I think my current course is missing.

I'l be taking more pictures in the way I like and taking my work in the direction I wanted it to be. Riding the road bike more. Going to Norhts as usual.

But firstly I need to get rid of the cold and cough I've had for the past week.

2012:

1) Ride more. A lot more.
2) Moderate my consumption. Yes, we know that opening a decent bottle of wine is fantastic, but finishing it is not always necessary.
3) Swear less. Already ruined that one several hours into 2012.
4) Deal with the unnecessary accumulation of bike parts.
5) Do the suitcase thing.
6) Go to the gym I joined last July.
7) No clandestine trips to fast food establishments.
8) Avoid Coca Cola.
9) Eat more fruit, not just bananas.

That should just about do it for the time being.
