2011-12-26 - Rider Down (me), Hyde Park Corner

Cycling on a bobike from euston to Victoria station around 1am. At the Hyde park roundabout a car D193... overtook me and cut straight across to Constitution hill wiping my front wheel out and sending me flying. I get up scared of traffic behind me he's stopped round the corner hes out of the car and heading towards me, he sees me get up and head to the side of the road, he then gets back in his car and drives off. I have a bit of a tourettes session. My hand is bleeding but it's superficial. I get to victoria having missed my train the guards are nice and help me clean the wound. My wrist is starting to hurt now.

Got a taxi home as I wasn't waiting for an hour, the pain kicks in more as time passes. My wrist is broken not a bad break but I'm in a cast to stop it moving and ruining the healing process and I'm off the bike for a month...gutted

I've reported it to the police and have a form to fill in. My mate in cid is taking me to the scene later today to check which cctv cameras are there and hopefully we can see the shitburg on camera and do him for hit and run. Wont get me back on the bike quicker but I'll feel a bit better about everything
